Harvest 107

I am a proud member of Harvest107, an organization working to fight food insecurity in rural and food-barren areas of the world like Haiti. We partner with organizations working to build modern organic urban gardens, providing nutrition to underserved communities, as well as sustainable education options and hands-on training in permaculture techniques.

The SHE initiative we implemented at Harvest107 provides female farmers the opportunity to provide healthy and nutrient-fortified nutrition to their families and the broader community. Members of the SHE initiative receive education, as well as the tools and supplies to grow and sustain their own organic gardens. This is made possible through donations as small as $25. The SHE initiative is a program that we are very proud of.

At Harvest107 we impact families with a program we call The Family Farm Pack, a family-size starter garden kit. These family farm packs are helping transform families by providing sustainable nutrition.

We offer a custom garden plan! If you are interested in gardening the way we do, or your garden needs some sprucing to improve your yield, you can download our plan and map out your success with our Custom Garden Plan here:

We will work until the statistics change. 1 in 9 people suffers from hunger. With your help, we can change that. For more information about Harvest107, please visit our site:

We carry an ever-popular T-shirt with the slogan “Ok, but first veggies”, as well as household gardening items in our shop. The sales of these items directly benefit Harvest107:

I’m a sucker for cute pots and terrariums. The next time you’re in the market for some, check these out. They’ll benefit Harvest107 programming!
